presents a great variety of continuous neuropathic pains from
deafferentation pains, to burning mouth disorders, and even
sympathetically maintained pains. Graphic depiction of the pain
mechanisms for each are used to provide the clinician with a
better understanding of etiology. Dr. Okeson provides
management suggestions for each category of pain disorders.
He also ties in how psychologic disorders can influence most
chronic pain disorders and treatment outcomes.
