Dr. Okeson offers one of the most comprehensive DVD lecture series on occlusion,
temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and orofacial pain found anywhere. This 30 DVD lecture
series discusses in details how the dental occlusion may or may not relate to
temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and orofacial pain. He begins with basic information on
masticatory anatomy and function, including the importance of occlusion. He then discusses
normal neuroanatomy and  neurophysiology, outlining the common pathways of orofacial
pain. Next, Dr. Okeson discusses the history and examination techniques used to gain
insight to the presence of a temporomandibular disorder (TMD) or other orofacial pain
conditions. He goes on the explain the critical thinking necessary to make the proper
diagnosis. Each temporomandibular disorder (TMD) and orofacial pain condition is described
and complete management considerations are presented. This educational DVD lecture
series is truly a complete series from beginning to end.
